The Adam & Eve FAQs

  • The number of guests range between the spaces:

    Ground Floor - 250 standing | 80 seated

    Green Room (ground floor) 60 standing | 35 seated

    First Floor Room 1 OR Room 2: 60 standing | 35 seated

    First Floor Room 1 AND Room 2: 120 standing | 70 seated

    Garden: 200 standing | 70 seated

  • Yes, we can hold a date for up to two weeks after your viewing.

    Once you have decided that this is the venue for you, we will then ask you to pay a deposit to confirm your booking.

  • Once you have decided you would like to book The Adam & Eve for your big day, we will send you a deposit link and a personalised wedding contract.

  • This is paid online through Design My Night, keeping it nice and easy.

  • You can access the venue between 9-10am - this must be agreed prior to the event with the venue manager.

  • You will be invited to meet with Harrison or Robert over a tea/coffee. We will show you around our wonderful venue and answer any questions that you might have.

  • We are licensed for non-religious ceremonies. If you are booking to have your wedding reception with us, you will need to arrange this with Barnet council. For any support feel free to email harrison@laine.co.uk.

  • No, we only run one event at a time and ensure that we have ample amount of staff on to make sure you and your guests are well looked after on your big day.

  • Yes, we allow for weddings 7 days a week. Whether you are looking for a small do, or want to go big, our space is available all week long.

  • The function room can only be access by two flights of stairs.

  • Yes, we have on site parking available for you and your guests. There is also street parking available down the main road.

  • Each space within the pub has a PA system which you can use. This means that you can play your own music from your phone. If you wish to bring in your own band or DJ you are more than welcome to.

  • Depending on the area you have booked, you can play music until the end of the night. The only restriction is in the garden where music has to be turned down at 8pm.

  • We do not allow confetti unless it is eco-friendly. Check out our blog for some great independent sellers where you can get dried flower confetti.

  • It wouldn’t be a wedding without candles, so absolutely. Please note that all candles MUST be in a candle holder with a minimum of 5mm between the flame and the top of the candle holders, which means unfortunately no tapered candles.

  • An absolute yes! We welcome your fury friends in all our venues.
